Roscoe had claimed a bit of notoriety - and even his own Facebook page - by wandering the streets of Lansdowne and nearby Upper Darby.
He is believed to have met his demise Friday when he was struck by a car near the busy intersection of Lansdowne Avenue and Baltimore Pike.
