Blame it on Punxsutawney

I'm going to blame Punxsutawney.

Did he say six more weeks of winter, or 6 more inches of snow?

In other words, it's snowing again.

The overnight rain is expected to slowly make its way from west to east and start coming down here in Delco by about 7 a.m. or so.

It's already snowing heavily in Chester County.

Most schools across the region have already closed.

By the time this is all done by this afternoon, the forecast is calling for another 4-8 inches of snow.

In the meantime, that furry rodent is no doubt sitting in his burrow chortling at all those who dared doubt his prognosticating abilities. He looked like a bit of a fraud yesterday afternoon when temperatures reached 50 degrees. This morning, as snow quickly overtakes the region, he's back in the driver's seat.

By the sounds of the forecast, he should have just gone ahead and said six more snows this week.

We're supposed to get some kind of winter glop Tuesday night into Wednesday, and then still one more storm next weekend.

Have I mentioned recently that I hate winter.
