You might say there was a little slice of Upper Darby on the 'Tonight' show last night.
And we're not just talking about Jimmy Fallon's guest, 'Saturday Night Live' star and Upper Darby native Tina Fey.
Also starring was an Upper Darby delicacy, Pica's Pizza.
Kudos to Victor Fiorillo of Philly Mag for putting this great yarn into the works. A few weeks back he interviewed James Cunningham, a writer for Fallon who also happens to be an Upper Darby native.
He told of how he and Fey bonded over their roots - and their love of Pica's rectangular pizza.
So when Fey was booked to guest on the show last night, the call went out to Pica's. The next thing you know Fey and Fallon were munching on a piece of Delco on national TV.
