What Pica's means to Upper Darby - & Delco

That moment in the national limelight for Upper Darby's Pica's restaurant was more than just a slice of life.

When Jimmy Fallon and Upper Darby homegirl Tina Fey munched no Pica's trademark pizza, it provided a lesson in what makes us special.

It reminded us what we're made of: Neighborhoods, and hard-working families that have provided the backbone of Delaware County and other parts of the region for generations.

Every neighborhood has a Pica's.

That are what make us true communities.

I try to explain on today's editorial page.
