There is something unnatural in a parent burying a child.
So I can only imagine the ordeal experienced this weekend by the family of Karder Hardy.
Hardy, a smiling, bubbly 4-year-old, was struck and killed when he got out of a car outside his home Saturday afternoon.
What makes this gut-wrenching story even more horrific is the circumstances the family found themselves in before tragedy hit again on Saturday.
They were already in mourning. In fact, they had just returned earlier in the day from the funeral for Karder's father, Derrick Brown.
