A setback for Taney Dragons, but a big step forward on race relations

So Mo'ne Davis and the Taney Dragons are not perfect.

Actually, these Philly kids who have rocketed to fame - and the cover of Sports Illustrated (yep, rack up another one for the jinx) - have taught us something very important in the process.

Mo'ne did not have her best stuff last night, and the Dragons hit into some tough luck and great defense as they fell Vegas, 8-1.

It's the things that Mo'ne and her teammates do off the field that we will most remember.

In fact, we'd go so far as to say we could learn a lot about race relations from the Taney Dragons.

We're doing so today on our editorial page.
