Tina Fey comes home

Tina Fey is coming home.

The last time we heard from the Upper Darby homegirl, she was giving a little national publicity to another local favorite, Pica's Pizza. The folks from Jimmy Fallon's show heard it was her favorite and actually had some shipped to the Big Apple for her appearance on the show.

But this weekend it will be Fey herself who is making the reverse trip, heading back to her roots in Delco to help celebrate the program where she got her start, the Upper Darby Summer Stage.

She'll be a the Upper Darby Performing Arts Center Saturday night for a special showing of her hit movie 'Mean Girls.' But the whole point of the evening is to benefit the Upper Darby Summer Stage. You can find out a bit more about the legacy of Harry Dietzler, who founded the program back in 1976, in our story today.

It's a true Delco success story.
