What happened to 'Live From the Newsroom?'

No, you didn't miss last night's schedule 'Live From the Newsroom.'

I was hoping to have Delco Republican Party Chairman Andy Reilly and Democratic leader David Landau on hand to kick off the fall campaign. I was looking forward to a discussion of the governor's race, which has been heating up all summer, with no signs of any cooling off in the war of words between incumbent Republican Gov. Tom Corbett and Democrat Tom Wolfe.

Then there's the crucial 26th District state Senate race between Republican County Council Chairman Tom McGarrigle and Democratic union leader John Kane.

The state House races are highlighted by a barn-burner in Upper Darby, where GOP councilman Jamie Santora is facing Democrat Vince Rongione to replace a Delco icon, Rep. Nick Micozzie, who is retiring from his 163rd District seat after representing Delco for more than three decades.

Reilly was in, unfortunately Landau couldn't make it.

And when he couldn't find anyone to sit in for him, I made the decision to put the show off.

My apologies to those who tuned in to see the debate. And also to Reilly, who was ready and willing to go on. I promise I will have both of them on soon so we can properly kick off the 2014 campaign
