Today is the deadine to register to vote on Nov. 4

Tom Corbett or Tom Wolf?

Tom McGarrigle or John Kane?

If you want a voice in those decisions on Nov. 4, and you're not registered to vote, today is your last chance to do so.

Monday is the deadline for Pennsylvanians to register to vote in the Nov. 4 election.

Here in Delaware County, in addition to the governor's race and the hotly contested fight for the vacant 26th District state Senate seat, voters also will elect all of their representatives in the state House, as well as two congressmen.

Republican Gov. Tom Corbett is battling for a second term against Democratic challenger Tom Wolf, who's led in the polls for months.

People who want to register for the first time or to change their address or political party need to complete applications that must be postmarked or delivered to the applicant's county board of elections by the close of business Monday.

Applications can be downloaded from the Pennsylvania State Department's website or obtained at places that include county voter registration offices, the state departments of Public Welfare and Health, PennDOT photo and license centers, armed forces recruitment centers and area agencies on aging.
