Your early morning roads report

Surprise!

Yes, those showers turned white overnight. In other words, depending on where you live, there is a coating of snow, at least on the ground.

If you have not dug out your brush and scraper yet, you'll need it this morning. You likely will be greeted by a dusting of snow on your car.

That's the bad news - unless you are one of those people who enjoy this weather and all the talk of a white Christmas.

The good news is that road conditions are not affected all that much, at least the ones I just traveled.

The majors, such as West Chester Pike and the Route 1 Bypass, are for the most part just wet.

That does not go for your driveway, your development and some side roads. I found some slush and some roads that were actually covered. Again I am always thankful that I don't have to travel during rush hour. I am guessing it will likely be a mess, simply because people panic at the sight of even a trace of snow.

Take my word for it. The roads are fine, for the most part just wet with a few slushy spots on the side roads.

Your biggest job this morning will be brushing off the windshield, and of course brushing aside the hyperventilating TV folks who are delighted with this latest turn of the weather.
