Chester kids make sweet music at Wolf inaugural

There is a great local connection to the Tom Wolf inauguration today.

No, we're not talking about the parade of former Gov. Ed Rendell cronies who are taking key spots in the Wolf Administration.

We're talking about a group of kids from Chester. The Chester Children's Chorus will be part of the festivities, performing during the ceremony and closing the ceremony with their rendition of "America the Beautiful."

You can get all the details here.

These kids are maybe the best-kept secret in the city. We recently profiled the group.

We'll also have live coverage of the Wolf inauguration. You can take part in our live blog by using the hashtag #WolfForPa on Twitter.

It all starts with the swearing-in ceremony for Mike Stack as lieutenant governor at 10:30 a.m. That followed with Wolf taking the oath of office as Pennsylvania's 47th governor at noon.

Stay with DelcoTimes.com all day for live coverage. And keep your eyes out for a great group of kids from Chester.
