I just made the mistake of walking outside to grab the papers that are delivered here to the office in beautiful downtown Primos every day.
Where did that wind come from? It wasn't blowing like that when I got here. If that's evidence of the cold dip that is due to arrive later in the day, we're in trouble.
Of course, it could always be worse. TV is regaling us with the fact that it is snowing in Emmaus. Which I guess is too bad for the folks in Emmaus. Snow showers also now are apparently breaking out in Chester County.
We've actually already had our high for the day. It was 38 earlier this morning. It will actually go down from there. We'll be at 34 later today, before temps absolutely go off a cliff overnight.
This could be one of the coldest nights of the winter.
Want to feel better about the weather?
Well, since I'm all about the weather these days, let me remind you of what happened exactly one year ago today. Remember? That was the ice storm that rocked the region, bringing down trees and power lines, cutting off power to 700,000 people and turning our lives upside down for a week.
And there is also this: If we can get through Friday, the weekend is calling for a warm-up.
That's the one thing about weather in these parts. It can almost always be worse. And it usually is.
Here's what AccuWeather says is in store for Delco.
