Who needs Punxsutawney?

Punxsutawney Phil once again gets his moment in the sun this morning.

For the rest of us, we continue to live the theme played out in the movie, dealing day after day with the same hysteria surrounding winter weather.

It looks like we survived another storm overnight.

There is a combination of snow, rain and slush. It didn't amount to much, but that won't stop our weather mania.

I used my print column today to talk about this non-stop winter predicament.

Who needs Punxsutawney when we have the local forecasters to beat us over the head with the weather every day.
