Eagles fans in a fog, & a promise of 61 degrees

Forget the four-letter words. This morning there is no snow. No ice either.

What there is, however, is fog. In some spots it's like pea soup out there.

It's likely a perfect morning for Eagles fans who continue to try to figure out just what it is Chip Kelly is trying to accomplish.

A few years ago, an Eagles team coached by Buddy Ryan that many believed was a serious Super Bowl contender went to Chicago and had the lead at halftime, only to emerge from the locker room to a heavy fog that enveloped the field and made seeing almost anything downfield impossible. The Bears rallied to win that game. You might say a fog has hung over the Eagles franchise ever since. If that is the case, in the rubble of yesterday's moves by Chip Kelly, dealing QB Nick Foles and acquiring perenially injured quarterback Sam Bradford, it is most appropriate. Eagles fans indeed are in a fog this morning.

There is better news, however.

Unfortunately, it does not include the Eagles.

We are being promised something we have not seen in months.

No, not Marcus Mariota.

Temperatures today are expected to clear the 60-degree mark.

Dare I say it? Winter is over. Spring is here.

And Eagles fans, at least we have that. Here is the full Accu-Weather forecast.
