Road Report: What you can expect out there this a.m.

For those of you who survived that long, slow, slog of a ride home last night, here's what you can expect for the ride into the office this morning.

Relax, it's really not that bad.

Once again, your biggest impediment will be getting to your car, chipping it out and then getting out onto the main road.

Last night's icy, gloppy mess is for the most part gone on the main roads, less so on the secondary and side routes.

The main roads I traveled - West Chester Pike, the Route 1 Bypass, and Springfield Road, were for the most part just wet.

Providence Road was a little sloppy.

My development, of course, looked like Armageddon, which it always does every time it snows.

Speaking of snow, get ready. This time tomorrow we're going to be dealing with what most forecasters are calling likely the biggest snow storm of the winter.

Most are calling for anywhere from 4-8 inches, with the snow starting around 1 a.m. and continuing through late Thursday morning.

Here's the latest forecast from AccuWeather.
