Airport deal will be finalized today - but we told you that on Sunday

You read it here first.

I love it when we report the news first. It's kind of what we live for in this business. We always want to get it first.

That's why we will of course be there today when officials from Delaware County, Tinicum Township, Interboro School District, the city of Philadelphia and Philadelphia International Airport gather at the airport to announce finalization of the long-anticipated Capacity Enhancement Plan.

But then if you read the Sunday Times, you'd already know that.

It's a very important story that will allow for the crucial expansion at the facility, which is one of the most important cogs in the region's economy.

At the same time, it will avoid the need to take as many as 75 homes in Tinicum Township.

The deal will also mean a huge influx of money for the three elements in Delco - the county, township and school district.
