The slow, inexorable death of the Granite Run Mall continues to play out like a slow drip from a faucet.
Each time another store closes, it gets closer to the end, closer to closing the book on a lifetime of memories.
That's why I dispatched a reporter to the mall on Saturday when I got word that a group of locals who basically grew up in the mall were planning to take one final walking tour of the place.
The walk down memory lane was put together via social media by local radio exec Spike Eskin.
"I spent much of my teenage years here, especially at the arcade, and wanted to come one more time," Eskin explained.
He was joined by 50 others to offer a final salute to their teen hangout.
If you missed it on Sunday, you can read it here.
