Brace yourself. Spring might be a little bit late to the dance, but it is expected to arrive today.
After a chilly start (what else is new), we're looking at temperatures finally breaking into the 60s along with lots of sunshine. Of course, it will also be accompanied by some gusty winds, so it likely won't feel that warm.
But after the miserable winter and early spring we've gone through, I'll take it.
So I guess I'll have to find something else to whine about now. My favorite peeve, winter and the way the local TV stations gush about it, is just about over.
Yes, we survived another winter.
Unfortunately, it does not look like the sun and warm temps are going to stick around for the weekend. We're expecting rain on Friday, and then temperatures retreating back into the 50s for highs on the weekend.
