Every police officer should have a bullet-proof vest

We used out editorial page to point out a couple of things in the wake of the shooting of a Ridley Park policeman this week.

One, Marc Hanly is a very lucky man.

Two, every police officer should be outfitted with a bullet-proof vest.

Yes, they're expensive.

But an officer's life? That's priceless.
