Nick Foles had a pretty good day yesterday. Went 18-for-27 for 297 yards and a TD in leading the Rams toa big 34-21 OT win over the Seahawks.
I still think Chip Kelly made the right decision.
In Buffalo, the Bills made Rex Ryan a winner in his debut, rolling over Andrew Luck and the Colts, 27-14. No, LeSean McCoy did not have a huge day. He gained just 41 yards in 17 attempts.
And if you're still pining for Marcus Mariota, he had a very good opening day, going 13 for 16 for 209 yards and 4 TDs.
Tonight we'll find out if Kelly was right in thinking last year's Eagles team simply was not good enough and changes needed to be made.
I think the Birds roll big-time tonight, in large part because Sam Bradford is about to have an MVP season.
If you missed it, it's in the Dreaded Saturday Eagles Pick version of the blog.
