With the sale of Crozer-Keystone Health System to for-profit Prospect Medical Holdings Inc., one of the things people are wondering about is whether or not another of the iconic names in Delco will disappear.
Crozer is part of the lexicon here in Delaware County.
Well, at least in one town, it appears there will be a reminder of the Crozer legacy, at least for a few more years.
That's because Crozer-Keystone Health System recently entered into a naming rights agreement with the Marple Newtown School District to have the corporate name adorn the high school football stadium.
Crozer is paying the district $18,000 for the two-year deal.
I am assuming that deal will remain in place.
Crozer's name now adorns signs on the stadium.
