Full disclosure: Both of my kids are Wegmans' alums.
They both worked at the supermarket in Dowingtown all through high school and college.
I can tell you that everything they say about it being a good place to work is true.
How good are they? When my kids came home for college for Christmas break, their jobs were waiting for them at Wegmans.
That is the kind of loyalty that is fairly hard to find in industry these days.
Now Delaware County has a Wegmans of its very own.
Needless to say, a lot of people were excited.
About a thousand people were already waiting for the doors to open at 7 a.m. Sunday when the new store opened out in Concord Township.
We were there for all the hoopla.
