All hail the Chester Panthers!
They held a pep rally for the undefeated 8-under youth football team from Chester as they prepare to depart for Florida to take part in the national tournament.
Of course we were there for the festivities.
Dozens of supporters packed the City Hall community room to cheer on a good story about some good kids in the city.
And that's the underlying lesson of this story, and one of the reasons this newspaper has paid so much attention to a group of kids.
It says something about Chester, and the way the city is often viewed by others in this county.

For now we only want one thing from the Panthers.
