Maybe we should make Jeff Lurie governor of Pennsylvania.
Talk about a losing culture. Is there a better example of everything that is wrong with Pennsylvania than what stands for governing in Harrisburg.
Lurie, the Eagles boss, got his fill of Chip Kelly's 'my way or the highway' culture and decided to 'Abandon Chip.' He fired Kelly, who arrived amid much fanfare from the University of Oregon three years ago, one game before the end of the season.
In the meantime, Gov. Tom Wolf yesterday continued his standoff with the Republican-controlled Legislature. He vetoed most of the GOP budget, making pretty clear what he thought of it. He termed it 'garbage.' Yeah, I guess he's not too happy with the 'culture' in Harrisburg. That is what happens when voters elect a Democrat governor, while at the same time expanding Republican majorities in both the House and Senate.
You can read about what Wolf's budget veto, which frees up some money for schools and social services, here.

We'll here from Lurie at noon. He's going to need a big shovel to clean up the mess left by Kelly.
But not as big as the demolition project that's needed in Harrisburg.
