I talk to people every day who are sure they can do this job much better than I do.
And some of them make a pretty good case.
I have said for years that the single most important decision I make here every day is what story dominates our front page. Remember, this is print, we don't get to rotate stories in and out of the lead spot, as we do online at DelcoTimes.com.
We get one shot at it in print.
Which brings me to the dilemma I faced last week, when we had a huge national story bucking up against a strong local story.
I actually asked the readers what they would do if they were sitting in my seat.
I got some great responses.
