LeSean McCoy still making headlines in Philly

Shady doings?

LeSean McCoy may have shuffled off to Buffalo, but the former Eagle continues to make news in Philly.

McCoy is being investigate in connection with a brawl that injured several off-duty Philadelphia police officers.

It happened over the weekend in Recess, a club in the Old City section. Here are the latest details.

McCoy is believed to be part of a group of football players who were in the club. The players and the off-duty cops got involved in an altercation. It is believed the fight may have been over a bottle of champagne.

The off-duty officers suffered serious injuries. It's not clear at this point if McCoy or anyone in his group suffered any injuries. No charges have been filed, but the incident is under investigation by the Philadelphia police department.

McCoy's current employer, the Buffalo Bills, put out a statement indicating they were "aware of the reports involving Le Sean McCoy and are in the process of gathering more information. We will not provide any further comment at this time."

McCoy is the all-time leading rush in Eagles' history.

He also has a history of making news off the field.

He took a lot of criticism back in 2014 when he left a 20-cent tip on a tab that came to $61.56 at a local burger joint. McCoy said it was because he received bad service.

He was sent packing to Buffalo by then-Coach Chip Kelly in exchange for linebacker Kiko Alonso. At the time, McCoy made comments that raise eyebrows across the league indicating Kelly did not relate well to black players.
