So much for that early glimpse of spring.
The first thing you will notice when you head out the door this a.m. is that it is COLD out. That's the bad news. The even worse news is that winter is poised to give us one more gasp - with some snow falling overnight and into Friday.
Don't panic. This is more like a dusting than anything else. Grassy surfaces might get a coating, but roads surfaces likely will remain just wet.
But there is a reward for dealing with what could be the final burst of winter.
How does the 70s sound? Not not the music of your youth. I'm talking about the temperature. Yes, they say we might actually hit the 70s by the middle of next week.
For now, we simply have to deal with a very cold start today, a little bit of snow Friday and a chilly weekend before we start to warm up next week.
Is winter over? We can only hope.
