We used our editorial page today to focus on something that is not often used in the heated debate about guns in this country.
Common sense gun legislation.
House Bill 1010, which would close some loopholes on background checks in Pennsylvania, is getting support from both sides of the political aisle.
This is not an attack on gun rights. It's not really even gun control.
It's just common sense.
That doesn't necessarily mean it will become law.
This is Pennsylvania, where any measure curtailing gun rights will draw heavy fire.
