We used our editorial page today to go to bat for the residents of Upper Chichester Township.
Jim Finley knows all about it. His family has run Cardile's Farm Market on Meetinghouse Road for years. But they might not go on much longer.
That's because Finley has had it with the problems caused by the CSX trains that rumble through the township, often blocking Meetinghouse, literally preventing customers from getting to his roadside stand.
That's not the only problem.
Other residents talked about issues with noise, smell and environmental concerns at a meeting this week with township and CSX officials. Now CSX is looking to expand their operations in the township.
That will be debated tonight. We'll be there to tell you how it goes.
