On our editorial page today, we saluted one of those unsung people who make Delaware County the special place that it is.
For almost four decades, Joe Benson was the face of CADES, the school that specializes in those struggling with physical or intellectual disabilities.
Joe stepped down this week as the non-profit's CEO.
He will be impossible to replace.
In those 39 years, Benson touched countless number of lives - people who desperately needed a helping hand. Joe was always there to greet them.
He was a Delco treasure who will be impossible to replace.
