A good ending for John Nagl

Every once in awhile, a sad story we report has a good ending.

That appears to be the case with John Nagl. He's the headmaster at the prestigious Haverford School on the Main Line.

Nagl was charged with a misdemeanor count of simple assault after an altercation with his son.

The school placed him on leave after what all involved labeled a "deeply personal" situation. One, of course, that made its way into the news.

But the Delaware County District Attorney's Office reviewed the case and decided to withdraw the charges.

Now Nagl is getting his job back.

He's return to his role as headmaster Friday.

Good for him.
