Springfield planners and the public got their first look at what - as our front page proclaims - they're going to get for $131 million in the plan for the new high school.
They apparently did not like what they saw.
Planners rejected the plans, offering concerns about traffic, how the structure would sit on the lot at Saxer Avenue and Rolling Road, and building height.
More than 150 people showed up to catch a glimpse of what they were getting for their money.
Now it's up to the school board to update their plans.
