When it comes to sports, we have for years been fond of the expression "Delaware County's Sports Authority."
Yes, I realize Sports Authority is no longer in business.
We are. Do we have our troubles as an industry? You bet.
But we persevere, in part because we cover local news and sports like no one else.
One of the big reasons why is people like Harry Chaykun.
Harry is the real Delaware County Sports Authority, a walking, talking Delco sports encyclopedia.
That includes a certain day from my own high school sports career that I would rather forget. Of course, Harry would never allow that to happen.
