It's a storm of big news stories

Anyone remember Harvey?

All eyes now are turning to the Caribbean and Florida as Irma - said to be the most powerful storm ever to form in the Atlantic - rumbles across the islands and takes dead aim at Florida.

Irma has spurred the Associated Press to label it 'The Big One' - the mythical storm that Florida has always feared, which cold devastate the peninsula. Scary stuff. Read it here.

Mandatory evacuations for the Florida Keys and Miami are in effect.

And there is still another storm brewing out in the Atlantic called Jose right behind it.

It's amazing how fast we pivot from one big story to the next one.

But a lot of people here in Delaware County have not forgotten those dealing with the devastation of Hurricane Harvey in Texas.

Like the Ridley High swim team, for instance.

You can read about what they are doing to help here.
