Reward fund for info on abused dogs now at $6,500

There is an important update on yesterday's Page One story involving the horrific abuse of two dogs that were found in Penn Pines Park in Upper Darby.

The reward fund for information for who is responsible for abusing the dogs, leaving them emaciated and suffering is now up to $6,500.

Gracie and Layla continue to be in bad shape but are slowly being nursed back to health at Aardvark Animal Hospital in Chester County after being rescued by the Justice Rescue Group.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the group at 215-942-6363, or by emailing them at abuse@justice-rescue.com. Information also may be given to Upper Darby police at 610-734-7693.

Let's deliver justice for Gracie and Layla
