A bit of karma bites the Eagles

Confession time again.

I wrote today’s print column, my weekly Letter From the Editor, before last night’s tough prime time loss by the Eagles in Seattle.

In that column, I talked about something that has been bothering me about this team. Yeah, I know, there is not a lot to dislike when a team bolts out to a 10-1 record.

Make that 10-2.

But as I explain in the column, I’m old school. I really dislike the Birds’ new penchant for celebrations after they score. They have gotten lots of practice in recent weeks, running up 30 points or more in blowout wins the past several weeks.

I’m not a fan of these over-the-top celebrations.

Call me old school.
