The din a voices is growing calling for a halt to construction on Sunoco's controversial Mariner East 2 pipeline plan until new safety assessments can be performed.
This week U.S. Rep. Pat Meehan asked Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf to do another study on the issue.
He was quickly followed by Chester County Sens. Andrew Dinniman and John Rafferty.
Then it was Delco state Rep. Leanne Krueger-Braneky and Carolyn Committa.
A citizens activist group got a sit-down with the governor as well. For his part, Wolf continues to point to the PUC as the entity that would have final say on the issue.
But the voices are growing louder.
