The voices - & votes - of young people

There is more to the March For Our Lives that was held in Washington, D.C., and in rallies across the country Saturday.

One of them drew hundreds to Rose Tree Park in Upper Providence.

It's not just all those voices being raised.

It is the vow that those voices will - if not right now - eventually represent votes.

Young people are vowing to make their voices heard - in the voting booth.

It was a shot across the bow of those who believe this will simply fade away, as concerns did after Columbine, and Sandy Hook. For some reason, this feels different.

Those resistant to change do so at their own risk.

It's on our editorial page.

Might be time for a balanced response.
While the 200,000 children were marching the NRA added 1 million paying members.
One thing I know about NRA members. They vote all the time. Can you say that about 18 year olds?
