A Woman's Place

I've been up to my elbows in politics this weekend.

First, on Sunday's editorial page, I noted what likely is going to be a recurring theme as we move from Tuesday's Primary Election and head toward November.

This will be the Year of the Woman. There is one certain result we already know about the November vote: Pennsylvania's all-male 18-member delegation in Congress will come to an end.

Both Democrats and Republicans have nominated women to do battle for the newly created 5th District seat in Congress.

Democrat Mary Gay Scanlon and Republican Pearl Kim will face off.

You can read our editorial here.

Today we offer a preview of the race.

There is a theme that covers both items.

A Woman's Place is in the House.

The House of Representatives, that is.
