Too often the stories about the opioid epidemic are illustrated by syringes, or bottles of pills.
What is too often missing are the faces.
That was not a problem Saturday in Eddystone.
There were more than 10,000 faces there for the fourth annual Overdose Awareness Day and Memorial Walk, to remind us of what is at stake, and honor those we have lost.
