It is one of life's milestones.
And thus, certainly one that should be noted by a community newspaper.
It seems like a fairly simple task - listing the names of high school graduates.
But unless you've done it I'm not quite sure you can understand just how big a task this is.
There are 15 public high schools in Delaware County, and a handful of archdiocesan and private schools.
Just getting the information - those list of names that appear in the paper today in our annual Grad Tab, the Class of 2018 - can be a challenge.
School officials are always asking how they can get good news about kids into the newspaper. It's amazing that getting these lists from some of the schools is like pulling teeth.
But they are there today - our Salute to the Class of 2018.
Now go out there and make us proud.
