Prepare to go with the Flo.
No, not the woman from Geico.
We're talking about the storm brewing in the Atlantic that is taking dead aim at the Carolinas.
Florence was updated to hurricane status Sunday and is expected to hit the Carolina coast as early as Thursday.
In the meantime, we're still dealing with the remnants of Gordon, which gave us a steady rain all day on Sunday, and will continue with on and off showers Monday.
This is going to be a field day for the local TV folks, who will no doubt do their best to scare the hell out of us as the storm approaches.
And here I was just getting used to the word of the summer: Dewpoint.
You know, the summer equivalent of the wind chill factor. Or perhaps the "real feel" temperature.
Just once I'd like to see a weather forecast where a person sticks their head out the window and declares, "yep, it's raining."
You can get the full forecast here.
