Bill Cosby was not felled by racism.
Or sexism.
He was not targeted because of his wealth or popularity.
Cosby was felled by his own hubris, a sense of entitlement that comes with being one of the most popular countenances in the country.
According to scores of women, 'The Cos' would drug them and then sexually assault them.
Why? The only answer is the same one I use again and again when faced with such questions involving people doing things or acting in a way that does not appear to be proper.
Why?
Because they can.
He was Cliff Huxtable.
He sold us Jell-O Pudding Pops.
He regaled us with the tales of Fat Albert.
He was "America's Dad."
Now he's state prison inmate NN7687.
Justice has been served.
