The push for justice for victims of child sexual abuse

Mark Rozzi knows all about how the wheels of justice turn slowly.

The Democratic state rep from Berks County is one of the fiercest proponents in the Pennsylvania Legislature of delivering justice for the victims of child sexual abuse.

Rozzi has long been trying to get his colleagues to approve opening a window for past victims of sex abuse to file civil actions retroactively.

It has been vehemently opposed by the church, the insurance industry, and some in the Legislature.

Now the push is gaining new momentum in the wake of the most recent damning grand jury findings that blew the lid off decades of sexual abuse of children by priests - and a clear pattern of covering it up by the church hierarchy.

We talk about Rozzi's push for justice on today's editorial page.
