Occasionally, people disagree with some of the opinions that are expressed in the newspaper.
You're stunned, I know.
But the truth is I'm an equal opportunity publicist.
One of the things I always offer people who call to complain is to pick up a pen, take up a dissenting view, and offer it to the newspaper.
People often seem genuinely surprised that I would entertain their thoughts.
Don't believe it.
Ask Andy Reilly.
He's the head of the Delaware County Republican Party.
And yes, Andy does not always see eye to eye with the opinions expressed on these pages.
My response when he asked to offer a response?
Fire away. Hopefully, not literally. Luckily, Andy has a good sense of humor.
He also can write.
Today on the op-ed page, Andy offers a response to what he sees as the growing creep of socialism into American society, as well as right here in Delco.
As you might guess, he's not a big fan.
In fact, he believes this trend could be dangerous.
