First things first.
It has not been raining all summer. It only seems that way.
I can tell you from this morning's commute that we've had some storm damage here in the county.
There was evidence of large trees down on both Rose Valley and Ridley Creek roads, which I use to cut over from Baltimore Pike to Providence Road.
One huge tree looks like it came down on a car and house on the corner of Ridley Creek and Rose Tree Roads.
There were cones set up at the intersection of Rose Valley Road and Brookhaven Road to block traffic, but I had just gone through the area and managed to maneuver through it OK.
The forecast is for more showers and possible flooding today.
Looks like it is going to be a wet, soggy week.
You might want to add in some extra time for the morning commute.
