Why the Delco GOP is feeling blue

Delaware County Republicans are still licking their wounds after another drubbing at the polls in the midterm elections.

They believe they know what happened. They continue to point at a very unpopular president as the root of the problem. They are correct. Voters certainly were energized and sent a message to President Donald Trump and the White House.

But there is more going on here in Delaware County.

This is now the second consecutive election dominated by the Dems.

GOP Chairman Andy Reilly might be ready to hit the exit, looking for a statewide post as chairman of the GOP's Southeast Caucus. I can't say I blame him.

It's not just Trump.

The numbers don't lie.

And they are not adding up for the Delco GOP.

I explain why in this week's print column, my weekly Letter From the Editor.
