There's some new faces sitting atop Delco politics.
They're called Democrats.
There was a time when they were an afterthought in this county, which was firmly in the grip of the powerful Delaware County Republican Party.
Times change.
So do the people.
But the success of Democrats today was based on the foundation laid by people like Cliff Wilson.
The New York native came to Delaware County and had the thankless task of leading county Democrats during some very lean years.
Cliff Wilson passed away last week.
On today's editorial page, we take time to offer a salute to a man who left a lasting imprint on Delco politics.
