Roads Report: No problem, so much for Round 1

Here's your early morning report from the roads:

No problem.

The main roads are just wet.

Side roads might have a light coating of snow, but for the most part it was smooth sailing on the ride in. As I always say, it's one of the few perks of this schedule, you pretty much have the road to yourself.

Or course that is not stopping many local schools to go with a two-hour delay. Must be nice.

So much for Round 1.

Round 2 and what is to follow sounds like it could be another animal.

Another shot of snow is expected to arrive Saturday afternoon, then likely to turn to heavy rain Saturday night into Sunday.

Then all that moisture is going to freeze solid as temperatures go off a cliff.

By Monday afternoon we could be in single digits.

Time too hunker down for a wild weather weekend.
