Cohen vs. Trump

This morning I have just one thing to say to Michael Cohen:

How do you really feel?

President Trump's former lawyer and so-called "fixer" today is expected to continue his three days of testimony, going public before the House Oversight Committee.

Last night he released his prepared statement.

Let's just say he's not pulling any punches.

Cohen calls the president "racist," a "con man" and a "cheat."

He also claims the president knew ahead of time that WikiLeaks had all those emails damaging to the Hillary Clinton campaign, and that he was misleading people about a Moscow real estate project.

Now something needs to be pointed out here.

Cohen is a convicted liar. He's going to prison because he lied to Congress about committing campaign finance violations while working for Trump.

For his part, the president is on the other side of the world, in Vietnam for a summit with North Korean strongman Kim Jong Un. But apparently at least part of his head is still back in Washington. He tweeted early this morning that "Michael Cohen was one of many lawyers who represented me (unfortunately). He had other clients also. He was just disbarred by the State Supreme Court for lying & fraud. He did bad things unrelated to Trump. He is lying in order to reduce his prison time. Using Crooked’s lawyer!"

Cohen said he now wants the American people to decide who is telling the truth.

His testimony starts at 10 a.m.

Get your popcorn ready.
